How to Mint USDx

To mint USDx on basix.fi/app, follow these steps:

  1. Connect Your Wallet: Connect your digital wallet to the Basix platform. Ensure that your wallet is compatible with the Arbitrum network.

  2. Deposit USDC: Transfer Arbitrum USDC to the Basix vault via the Deposit button and approve the transaction. The minimum deposit amount specified on the platform is currently 100 USDC.

  3. Mint USDx: Once the USDC is deposited, the protocol will automatically mint the equivalent amount of USDx and credit it to your wallet.

Redeeming Your USDx

Redeeming USDx is just as straightforward on basix.fi/app:

  1. Connect Your Wallet: Connect your digital wallet to the Basix platform.

  2. Initiate USDx redemption request: Select the amount of USDx you wish to redeem and click Request.

  3. Claim USDC balance: Upon completion of the 2 day unstaking period, your USDC is claimable. Click Claim and the protocol will automatically process the redemption, and the equivalent USDC will be transferred back to your wallet.
